Pricing - Design & Build

Affordable web design & agreed fixed prices

All projects are a different – but in order to give you an idea of what to budget – the following prices are typical.

Here at TTGO, we believe in affordable web design, with transparent prices and all costs agreed in advance so that you know exactly how much your website project is going to cost.

We also think that all businesses are unique and your website needs to be designed around your core values, your products and services and your customers. It should be easy to use, deliver all the things users expect, work efficiently and be easy to find.

That means different things for different businesses.

So we prefer to discuss your vision – and with our input and guidance – to agree a plan for your website. Then we will give you a fixed price for the work.

You don’t pay anything until the work is complete and you are happy with the result.

We also realise that most people are looking for a ballpark figure before they will pick up the phone or email. So we’ve prepared the following illustrations to help you decide if we are right for you and your budget.

Basic Business Site – from £400

Typically a basic business site contain a collection of pages linked by a menu which delivers information to users. Information about your products and services, terms of business, history, approach, what makes you different, and how customers can find you or get in touch.

More Complex Site from £800

Websites typically become more complicated – and therefore take longer to design and build properly – when they go beyond simply delivering information and start to allow users to interact. Examples include online shopping, bookings, directory listings, complex forms, and content in multiple langauges.

Website Rewrite – from £300

We are seeing more companies and individuals who already have some kind of website looking for a rewrite to improve their online image. The technology moves quickly and a site that was ‘state-of-the-art’ a few years ago can look very dated. Screen resolutions have increased dramitacally  and of course we now all access the internet on phones, tablets, laptop and desktops of all shapes and sizes.

Also businesses change their offer,  their image and their core values over time – sometimes older websites dont keep pace – often because they are hard and/or expensive to update.

Social media has become a major channel for lots of people in a very short time – most older websites dont integrate well with facebook, Twitter etc.

Other Costs to Budget For…

In addition to the design and development costs – there are a couple of other items of expenditure you will need to consider.

If you don’t already own a web domain ( thats the address that looks like ) you’ll need to buy one – budget £8 – £20 per year. If you already have one – we can use that.

You will also need a hosting company and SSL certificate for your website. A budget of £100 – £150 per year is fine for most business websites.

You may need photography – great images make great websites. Depending on the nature of your business you may be able to use library images – budget £20 – £60.

Finally, you should consider budgeting for ongoing support and maintenance once your site is live.
